On October 28, AirPods Pro, a new model of its branded fully wireless headphones. It did not become a replacement for regular AirPods Price in Pakistan: both models of headphones are available for sale. Today, we’ll determine which options are best for you.
Headphone differences briefly
Noise suppression.
AirPods Pro have two main differences compared to the classic AirPods: in-ear design and Active Noise Cancellation mode, which will help you block out ambient sounds – it will let you relax during breaks or focus while working.
Sound
AirPods Pro have retained the balanced sound of AirPods, which makes them a versatile tool for listening to songs of any genre. The new headphone model also received a special adaptive equaliser that adjusts the sound quality to the characteristics of the ears.
Dimensions and weight
AirPods Pro have become a little heavier both separately from the case and with it. However, the headphones are still as compact and comfortable as possible to use. By the way, their case, as before, fits into a small pocket of classic jeans – for this, headphones are very fond of.
Control
You can control AirPods by double-tapping on the headphones – you can attach various features to this action, which you can change through the iPhone’s “Settings”. AirPods Pro, due to the in-ear design, are controlled by squeezing the legs.
Autonomy
Like AirPods, AirPods Pro last up to 5 hours at 50% volume and with noise cancelling turned off. Their autonomy will decrease to 4.5 hours if you turn it on. But if you recharge any branded headphones in a case, it will come out to get 24 hours without an outlet.
Equipment
In the AirPods box, there can be two options for the carrying case: with or without wireless charging support. AirPods Pro come with a wireless charging case and a Lightning to USB-C cable instead of the classic Lightning to USB-A cable.
Noise reduction capabilities
The main innovation of AirPods Pro is active noise cancellation. When it’s on, the headphones pick up ambient noise, create a backlash, and send it back to your ear along with music and other sounds. Then it creates the feeling that the surroundings are absolutely quiet, and this helps to concentrate or relax. Along with active noise reduction, passive noise reduction also works. This is achieved through the in-ear design of the headphones. Each of the AirPods Pro is located not in the auricle like AirPods, but in the ear canal. Due to this, less surrounding sounds get into the ear, if they are not needed at the moment.
Active noise cancellation analyses ambient sounds at a frequency of 200 times per second. That is why each of your ears receives a compensating wave before it has time to hear the surrounding noise. This is important not only for music, but also for listening to podcasts or phone conversations. Through the Control Center, active noise cancellation can be turned off or switched to transparency mode. The latter creates the opposite effect – it must be used while moving around the city. It amplifies ambient sounds so you don’t bump into a cyclist nearby, for example.
Playback quality
AirPods have always distinguished themselves from other headphones of a similar form factor with the most balanced sound. They work equally well with the entire frequency range, so they do an excellent job with both electronic and instrumental music. AirPods Pro go even further. They use a special adaptive equalizer that analyzes the shape of the ear and adjusts the sound parameters to create the most realistic and rich sound possible. Due to this, they play even better than the model without the Pro console.
AirPods Pro’s adaptive equalizer uses a dedicated microphone on the inside of the earphones to hear sound just like you do. He analyzes it and changes the level of mid and high frequencies, taking into account the received data. AirPods Pro also feature a high-performance, wide dynamic range amplifier that delivers crisp, clear sound while saving battery life. It works together with the proprietary H1 chip, which controls the volume and is responsible for the stability of the connection.
Dimensions of headphones and cases
AirPods are reference headphones not only in terms of playback quality and ease of use, but also in terms of dimensions. The model with the Pro prefix received a different shape – the headphones are slightly larger in the main part, but shorter in the leg, which protrudes from the ear and ensures signal stability. There are more components inside the AirPods Pro, so the headphones are a little heavier than the classic AirPods. However, this does not affect the usability of fully wireless headphones.
AirPods and AirPods Pro have different charging cases. classic fully wireless headphones have a vertical orientation. The new model has changed it to a horizontal one with a little more weight: the difference is just over a tenth – 5.6 g. The AirPods carrying and charging case fits perfectly into the small pocket of classic jeans, which is most often located near the right front pocket. The AirPods Pro case also fits in it – the only thing is that it does not fit vertically, but horizontally.

Operating time without recharging
On a single charge, AirPods will last about 5 hours at about 50% volume. With Active Noise Cancellation turned on, AirPods Pro’s autonomy is half an hour lower – 4.5 hours. However, if you put it in an inactive position using the “Control Center”, it will grow to the same 5 hours.
With occasional use of the charging case, AirPods and AirPods Pro will last up to 24 hours without access to a power outlet. If you walk around with the headphones for about 3 hours every day, then they, together with the case, are more than enough for a week of use without access to the power supply.
